About this Adventure
Prepare for the photographic adventure of a lifetime as we explore Morocco's most visually stunning northern region—from the Atlantic coast to the legendary Blue Pearl of Chefchaouen, culminating in the ancient imperial city of Fes. This 14-day journey immerses you in a photographer's dream: the ethereal blue-washed alleyways of Chefchaouen where every corner reveals visual poetry, the 9th-century medina of Fes (UNESCO World Heritage site and the world's largest car-free urban zone) where medieval craftsmen still practice centuries-old traditions, and the sophisticated coastal cities of Tangier and Casablanca. You'll photograph the magnificent Hassan II Mosque—the seventh-largest in the world with its soaring 210-meter minaret rising from the Atlantic—stay at the iconic El Minzah Hotel where Churchill and the Rolling Stones once walked, and capture the vibrant energy of Morocco's Independence Day celebrations as the entire nation comes alive with national pride. This isn't just a photography workshop—it's a complete sensory immersion. Spend three full days in Chefchaouen's labyrinthine blue streets, three days exploring Fes's timeless souks and tanneries, and travel the stunning Atlantic coastline stopping at working fishing villages and internationally-recognized birdwatching sanctuaries. Between intensive shooting excursions, comprehensive editing sessions, and intensive, near daily critique sessions, enjoy luxurious accommodations in palatial riads, spa treatments, gourmet Moroccan cuisine, and comprehensive daily critique sessions where you'll refine your vision with expert instruction. From dramatic landscapes to intimate street photography, from architectural masterpieces to cultural celebrations, every day offers extraordinary opportunities to create portfolio-defining images. Join us where ancient meets timeless, and return home transformed with images that capture the soul of North Africa.
